In 1991 Paul Jennings and his sons started Veterans Garage Door with two employees on S. Treadaway in Abilene. The company was named for the high value the owners placed on military service. In 2002 Veterans Garage Door moved to its current location on Ben Richey Drive to accommodate the growing business, and current owner Kirk Brown bought the company soon thereafter.
