This business was started in 2017 when two families united together. On one side you had someone who had already had expert experience in the cleaning service industry and on the other was someone with over 24 years of servicing customers and expanding customer satisfaction, united we have brought together the best of both worlds to not only provide a professional service, but one that makes sure of complete customer satisfaction.
We have been in the construction industry for over 20 years. We started out in the roofing industry, building roofs on new construction and roof replacements. Because we had so many remodeling opportunities, we thought this would be a great way to service our customers with their roofing and construction needs. Stracoa is locally based and family ran. We have customers who have been with us for over 5-10 years, they continually refer their friends and are always wanting to add or change something in their home so building lasting relationships are extremely important to us.
We've been drying out homes and businesses, testing for mold, and doing mold remediation since 2009. We are a women owned family business, so we take the safety of families and homes very seriously. We have gone through all of the major floods including Allison and Harvey, as well as the major freezes including Winter Storm Uri in 2021. On a day to day basis, we are dealing with mold problems caused by unknown water damage and high humidity. We've pretty much seen it all and have the experience to know what to look for and where to look for it.
I started my business back in 2001. I have always enjoyed outside work and the response from the customers after completing a job is very satisfying. We use state of the art equipment and I am very knowledgeable about what can be pressure washed and what pressure washing can damage. I have spent many hours cleaning homes, commercial buildings, and I take pride in every job I do.
HTX Mold Consulting started after the Hurricanes in 2004. We found a need for consumers to know what problems their homes and health may have after receiving flood water and moisture in their homes or place of business.
