After working for my step father's roofing company for many years in Los Lunas I decided to get my own contractor's license and start a new company out in Edgewood. I saw the need for local roofers east of Albuquerque and felt we can fill that need. We have grown more than 33% per year ever since.
In 1983 Mr. Alvarado started Alvarado and Sons Roofing. The business was sold to Del Powell and Craig Kemper in January of 1988 and the name was changed to Alvarado Roofing and Construction Co. Inc. Del Powell retired in 1992 leaving Craig Kemper as the sole owner of Alvarado Roofing, Inc.
