Our company has been family owned and operated since my father started his roofing and construction business in 1964. After getting out of the Army I began working with him. Years later, he retired and I was joined by my sons. In the late 1980's we tried our hand in the city. My son Brian and I worked in New York for Morse Diesel. I worked as a Project Engineer and he as a Union Carpenter. We worked on the Philip Morris Building and the Staten Island Mall. After a couple of years the decision was made we would move to Florida with our children and take our family business with us. Almost 14 years ago we were joined by my granddaughter Amy, who is now a partner in the business and holds state licenses in roofing and general construction. We are all very grateful for our customers who have given us the opportunity to work together and we hope to continue for many generations.

Maurice R. Ragot, President of A Classic Touch Painting, is originally from Long Island, NY where he worked his way through high school doing home improvements (painting, installing siding, soffit & fascia, carpentry, etc.). Maurice came to Daytona to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He graduated Embry-Riddle in 1994 and worked as an Avionics Technician at Daytona Beach Jet Center from 1994-2001. Maurice began his local painting and home improvements business in 2001. He has been providing skilled home improvements and painting services since 1987. A Classic Touch Painting is family owned and operated. We are fully licensed & insured and we carry a long list of certifications and qualifications.
